Anyone have a clue as to who the OEM manufacturer of the Red - Blue lights on the Cop bike might happen to be? Whelen was the source for the siren and speaker horn. Would like to replace the red - blue covers with clear white for additional on coming awareness. Thanks all |

I believe you'll have to change the whole lighthead - the LEDs, not just the lenses, are colored. And Whelen lightheads are not rated / designed for steady-on use. They're designed to flash. |

Thanks for the update. Sent Whelen an email last Friday but no reply as yet. Regards |

I'm also in the process of changing out all my lights to amber-front and red-rear to keep it all legal. The two round lights in the front are Whelen SmartLED 200 series TIR6. It's the extended lens in single color. You can reuse the mounting ring on the new LED light. http://www.whelen.com/_AUTOMOTIVE/details_prod.php ?head_id=12&cat_id=74&prod_id=143 |

Make sure you ask Whelen if the lights you are getting, are rated for steady-on usage. I'd be interested in hearing the answer. |

A few more updates. The stock police lights in front (the two round lights) are PAR-32/36 TIR6 Super LED with extended lens and the Grommet mounting kit. http://www.whelen.com/pb/Automotive/ProductSheets/ Lightheads/3.5inch_and_4inch_Round.pdf I'm thinking about mounting the new Interleaved drive/warning models that has clear LED for driving/fog and changed over to color LED for strobe, all in the same light housing. Here is the product catalog http://www.whelen.com/pb/Automotive/ProductSheets/ Lightheads/3.5inch_and_4inch_Round.pdf Product discussion on another forum http://elightbars.org/f13/whelen-par36-style-dual- color-light-emitting-diode-20743/ |

If you contact Whelen, Can you ask them a few question for me 1. if the interleaved drive warning light (PIR36) is available in clear/amber? 2. is the interleaved drive warning light head available as a separate part, without the fog mounting kit for the police cruiser? Thanks! |

Got a couple of old stock PAR32/36 clear covers and replaced the red/blue ones with them. The PAR32/36 covers have fluted pattern and are different than the newer PIR36 covers, which are clear with no fluting. |
