Hey guys! For a fleeting moment I have internet so wanted to post. I am deep in the woods in the middle of a swamp and had a class yesterday, albeit a little closer to civilization, well kinda. Perpetually covered in bug spray, (PNW person, thanks for advice about the picardin, It's working well) and sunscreen, I've been trudging around the swamps, dodging floods, crying in my helmet sometimes, swimming in mine and gravel pits, playing yard games with my nephews, riding when I can, running in and out of attorneys offices settling estate issues, disagreeing with siblings and just trying to hold it all together til I am at my next destination and catch my breath. Whew!

So, it was a welcome diversion yesterday when we were waiting for all the BRC2 participants to arrive and I hear a recognizable snort. I look at the two easily identified lights coming my way (like that mod alot) and the barricade orange color on the all too familiar frame. I could not help but WOOO HOOO! Note my co-coach used his 1125R for demos yesterday so that meant out of ten bikes, three were Buells. It was rarer than a 'squatch sighting which according to a recent past student of mine, happened near the wooden table inn near Britt, MN a few weeks back. I've had their burgers, Bigfoot was prolly just hungry and has good taste in food.

We talked mods and he said he got a lot of ideas from the badweb. It was a pleasure having him in our class and I surely hope he chimes in here.

If you see this, D., thanks a bunch for the amsoil stickers, and you missed out on a great pizza burger but I hope you enjoyed your grandkids birthday. That is way more important than any pizza burger ever! BeLinda aka FLtwistygirl.

Cool story, Belinda.

I took the Military Sportbike Rider Course here in Charleston, SC a couple of years ago and there were FOUR Buells there: my Uly, another Uly (this one an XT), and an 1125CR taking the course, and one of the instructors rode a Uly. That's the most Buells I've ever seen in one place outside of a dealership or a Buell meet.

"That's the most Buells I've ever seen in one place outside of a dealership or a Buell meet."

Me too, Hughlysses. I taught Riders Edge for a while at a then-Buell dealership and only saw an occasional non student Bueller pull into the lot. Also, once I was audited by a R.E. Instructor Trainer who rode an 07 TT. But that basically has been it.

I just think the fact that I have to travel 1600 miles to work with another Bueller ridercoach is weird. But, like most Buellers I have met, he is an awesome person!!!

K-
Taking that class is definitely on my "to do" list. I've heard nothing but great things about it.

Finally checking in Belinda. Yep, it was a pleasant surprise for me to see not one but TWO Buells there and one a Uly at that! Thats gotta be rarer than a Bigfoot sighting in these parts! Always meant to take the course after getting back into riding a couple years ago so was good timing to have both instructors on Buells and one being a BWBer! Was a good time even with the hot weather (for these parts) along with the visit and short ride afterwards.

Great to see ya on here, lone ranger! I hope you get plenty more rides this season before snow falls.

Wish the ride could have been longer. Its soo neat riding with another Uly rider, especially one that does not hesitate to go off road. I did take the xt up to the lake before we packed up and headed west and it is still covered in mud!!!

I should have known right away when I saw your last name that we would know a zillion people in common. I forget how small world it is up there but it is one of the reasons I love to teach there. Never know who I'm going to encounter or if it is an "experienced" rider class, what they are gonna be on.
