I bought a set of H&B journey bags, obviously they will not fit these racks. These racks came off a 2006 Uly with a set of JC Whitney Moped Rack trunk cases on each side. Does anyone know who made these racks? Are they GIVI or H&B or someone else? thanks  | ||

Never seen them before (they're very different from anything Happy Trails makes). I'd say they are home-made. | ||

they have a perfect powder coat and appear to be pro-made to me....the welds and how they fit.....they came off an '06 that was sitting at a dealer...I bought an '08 and got the racks and Whitney trunks mounted as side bags....I really thought the racks were factory sooo, I bought a set of H&B bags that...don't fit | ||

I talked with Happy Trails and sent a photo to them. They say none of their Ulysses racks had such a small hoop. I have bought a set of H&B Buell bags thinking I'd just use the factory bag. The set of racks I have came off a 2006 model setting on the dealers floor. I bought a 2008 they had and got the racks and the bags off the '06. The bags I got are top case/trunks made for scooters and sold by Whitney's. I wanted to replace them with something that wouldn't break the first time the bike fell over...The racks aren't factory either.....so I have a set of factory bags that won't fit my racks. I was thinking maybe, if I knew, what brand they were I could swap them for factory OE racks...and use my new bags... |
