Hi All, One thing in addition to the subject line. 1st I will not be explaining this so I can receive any pity as there are people on this board that are far worse off than me. In September of 2002 I was diagnosed with an Aligodendra Glioma Brain Tumor. I went through 12 Months of debilitating Chemo, and 6 weeks of radiation. Yes there are some severe (well that is what I think they are) after effects (word recollection being one) so pardon my grammer and word choices. Oh yeah spelling as well. In addition I have an awful short term memory now so I can no longer create long term memories. Short term creates long term. Depression is the worst problem, and riding my 08 Uly is the only thing that makes me happy! Good news is I have been cancer free for 9 yrs and the prognosis is positive! Now onto the question of the racks. I seem to remember (see above as it may just be my imagination that this happend) That someone on this site had the ability to look for parts in the dealer network. I am sort of hoping that a dealer out there may have the racks in there stock room and may want to get rid of them. I was going to have a friend with the knowledge and skill make me a set, but in a thread referenced here someone quoted his boss saying why build what you can buy, plus I also learned that a home made rack may induce some issues with the frame so I have decided to buy instead. If someone actually has this capability, could they look for me to see if any dealer, or anyone on this board that may be reading this, has what I am looking for? If I am crazy then let me know. I have been called worse in the past 10 years. I appreciate the effort anyone goes through to help me with this! Sorry for the long winded post. Druelly | ||
