Hi, My Uly came with a Baker Drivetrain 26 tooth pulley among other spare parts. I am changing my belt and getting some Pirelli Trails, was thinking of trying out this pulley. Anyone have experience with a 26 tooth pulley, how much difference will I feel from OEM, will I just be eating belts and back tires? Will it fit with the standard belt? On Another note, getting my right leg cooked now and then, given we now have iceburgs settled around our coast it's sometimes welcome lol. Anyone use the titanium wrap or ceramic coatings? Thanks |

I'm new to Buells, so I can't answer your question on the pulley. I'm planning on using this exhaust wrap: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DEI-010131/ When I get it and install it, I'll let you know what I think. It'll probably be a few weeks yet before I get to it. |

Don't hold your right leg tight to the frame, just a 1-2" space will keep it a lot cooler. I wear jeans under a pair of mesh armored pants, it's actually cooler that way than just wearing jeans. If you want to "lower" your final drive ratio you are better off putting an XB 9 primary chain and front sprocket in. You can get everything you need at American Sport Bike. You cannot simply change the front drive pulley without changing the rear also, there is no way to adjust the belt. |

If you have the comfort kit and ride with armored pants, the leg heat is not bad at all (at least it isn't on my 07). |

wouldn't you need the free spirits belt tensioner with a different size sprocket? |

You would have to have some method of adjusting the belt tension. You can't just take a link out of the belt. |

A larger tensioner pulley would take up the slack. |
