Just noticed that the front mount on my 06 Uly is worn, the rubber is pretty wasted, I compared it to my 06 XB9 lightning. Its shot.
SO, wondering is the mount the same on these bikes? Appears to my eye that they are.

Also, could someone please refer me a part number on this? So to be sure I order the correct part.

THANKS!

Check with Al at American Sport Bike. One of our best sponsors here. He can inform you about every aspect of what you need to know, then he will sell you the proper part at a fair price and ship it right away.

Thanks for the replies.

Next question,
can I replace the bolt only, I assume that the rubber shock is bonded to the bolt. OR do I need to replace the complete unit?

The aluminum bracket has the rubber mount bonded in it's hole. The bolt is one of three that holds it in place. The large center bolt is the active mount bolt. It should come with the kit.

Coat it with antisieze to prevent it from rust locking in place.

I saw a part advertised somewhere, and now I can't remember where I saw it, but it was some sort of spacer that goes in between the center bolt and the mount that relieves some of the pressure from the motor mount and is supposed to extend the life of the mount significantly. Has anyone seen this?

Jk - I thought I had remembered seeing that product out on the Palmer Products website, but when I just went to their "newer" site:

I didn't see it listed and I can't seem to access their old website from work:

I imagine Palmer still carries them - I order it about 2 weeks ago and received it just last week. Price was 6pounds plus shipping (i ordered windshield and other things, do don't know shipping cost just for the saver)

I just did mine...

Only big issue was the bolt that goes into the frame was seized. Had to put propane and breaker bar to it to break free.

Kit comes with the full bracket and main bolt for the frame, engine bolts are reused.

Other than that it was pretty simple.
