Heck, if ya'll are being so helpful in finding parts numbers, how about a source?
Part# Y1000.2AK throttle cable guard
local dealer no help, american sportbike said not available, first three dealers that came up in a google search emailed, not a single one has answered.
I'm a touch OCD. Been going over the forum for every little thing that should have been addressed on my new to me 06, and this is one of the few things the previous owner hadn't done. I won't be able to enjoy riding it until I've done all the preventative things I find out about.
Anyone?

Xbimmer, Previous owner dropped bike on left side, and bars hitting the ground caused forks to pinch cables. Now throttle cables need to be replaced as they hang up. As I get more comfortable on it and start exploring more, the likelihood of me dropping it again goes up. If I can find one, I'll put it on. Do you have one you took off?

Mbest,
your part #s are very close, if not correct.

i'm finding alot of the other part #'s thur google searches, but it's a one-at-a-time search, and with out the exploded drawings; i'm about 95% sure i have the correct part #'s.

i really sould get myself a friggin' parts catalog. i have one for my 1125 and it's are super-handy, especially in PDF.

i'm seeing them only for 08's on e-bay right now ....

Thoughts and input will be appreciated.
