Author Message   Buelldualsport Posted on Friday, April 27, 2012 - 08:53 am:        Invested in the Powerlet Power Bar 12v mount the the accompanying PBK006 detachable mount for the Zumo 660. The Powerlet (Ram) snap on cradle does not snap on. Powerlet just said, force it till if fits. Not too good an idea. Anyone have an alternative solution to mounting the GPS so that it can be removed at lunch, dinner end of day and etc? Or were you looking to remove the gps and base together.   Buelldualsport Posted on Friday, April 27, 2012 - 06:03 pm:        We purchased the RAM mount so that all we had to do, was to snap it our of the mount when we stopped. The Powerlet Power Bar and Power Cable for the 660 are very robust and usable. However the snap in mount is either the wrong one, or something. Appreciate all the input. It took me a year of arguing with myself before I could justify the outlay.
