So lately I have been noticing my headlight flickering when turning the front wheel. I do not notice it while out riding but then again I am not looking at it then.

I do notice it when pulling into the garage. The headlight will go off for a moment but will not stay off. This happens when turning from left to right or when hitting a small bump. It does not do it turning from right to left.

I pulled the front cover off and tried to make it happen again by turning the wheel back and forth and wiggling wires to no avail.

Is there anything I should be looking into specifically? I have the HID in but all of those connections are tight.

It's your grounding.
Add a big fat ground wire between the front of the frame and the steering neck.

With star washers under the flat end, remove the paint where the star washer is making contact with the frame.

You need a good electrical/ground contact with the frame.

Good Luck

I just went through this. On mine the orange/white wire (I have done the headlight mod so the orange/white now powers the lowbeam) broke right where it comes out of the harness protector on the steering neck. Try wiggling the harness at the protector while turning the bars to the right and left. Do a search for "Turn right, no light" in BBD. That was my original thread. A couple of people posted really good suggestions for fixes that helped get me back on the road.

Thanks for the replies. I will look into it a bit more this weekend. I noticed this morning that when the Headlight flashes the tail light does as well. Time to stop messing around and fix it.
