Brand new xb owner after years of admiration . The ride home from Ohio threw a 21 & it is the exhaust servo I believe???
Can I buy an eBay or source another servo & solve the problem?
Looking forward to a another good ride tomorrow !

There was an upgrade on the actuator. The original used plastic gears that would strip. I went through 2 of them. The last one used metal gears and has not been a problem. If you buy e-bay look to see if the case is screwed together or riveted. Screws mean plastic gears and rivets mean metal gears. Don't even waste your time on plastic.

Dean, if you are replacing the exhaust valve actuator it will be replaced under warranty. 5 years or 18'000 miles I believe. Alternately Buell Parts sells them along with others. Just had mine replaced on my "new to me" 08 XT.
