I think my BAS is going wrong, i was wondering if i remove the metal piece that is like a balance weight would the bike give em an error code or it would not give me any error code? Thanks. | ||

Turn it off with ECMspy, faster, easier, and less permanent. I don't recall anything about the BAS throwing trouble codes, it either works or it doesn't, and when it doesn't it shuts the bike off. | ||

I know i had mine fail once and shut of the bike randomly, yesterday i was on twisties and it shut of on one of the twists fortunately i was going quite easy so i held the clutch and managed to stop after having to cross 1 lane of slow traffic. Didin't think about doing it on Ecm-Spy. Thanks Froggy. | ||

If you don't want to do it in ECMSpy you can use a bit of silicone rtv to hold the pendulum in place. Just make sure it is oriented properly to the circuit board, apply the goop and reassemble. Might want to wait a bit for the stuff to cure before subjecting it to operational vibes. | ||

What makes you think it is going wrong? Its either on or off and the bike has to be over a long way for it to cut out. |
