Where are all the Buell's gone. The only one I saw was the one in the photo. A members bike?

It's winter here as I'm sure you've noticed unless you are in Florida.

USA is a fairly large chunk of land. Roughly where were you and when?

I hope you had a great trip, and visit, Harleywern, but 17 days and not seeing a Buell, sorry to say, is NOT even close to a record. I ride 4-5 days a week, year around, and I almost NEVER see another Buell, and I'm in a populated area. There aren't many out there but I was out on mine today and I was marveling at what a great bike it is.

There are four (including my Uly) out of at least one hundred bikes in the bike parking at work and I'm amazed there are that many.

There were 135,000 Buells produced.

More than likely, half of those are still on the road.

That's only about 1300 per state on average.

Ken - Getting ready for an outage. We will be working six days a week for the next three months, or so. Looks like this is our last weekend off.
My son is the smart one in the family - he got a job in Palm Beach (We actually live in Amish country, Pennsylvania) and likes Buells. He started out on the warden's Blast! that she'd outgrown (she moved on to a Lightning) and then was riding my Firebolt before he moved.
For our last weekend off we took an airboat ride, kayaked in Islamarada, and checked out the sailboats at the Miami boat show.
While kayaking we saw some canal front homes for sale that we would love to leave it all behind for but it's pretty mad money. They won't get any cheaper, though, so we're really thinking.
We love Florida. We usually visit Orlando, Ocala, And Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral (family lives there) in the summer so the summer heat that scares most people off doesn't bother us.
Maybe we'll end up at St Lucie after this one. We'd love to get together with some other Buellers. My best friend rides an 1125R and we've only ridden together once, even though we go out as couples quite often.

Hi all,

the picture was taken at Harley Davidson of Victorville in California. I traveled in California, Arizona, Utah and Nevada. I saw quite some bikes, but no other Buell. I was in 5 Harley dealerships, but none had any Buell stuff left. In the end I bought some parts for the Street Glide.

There are still alot of die hard buell owners. The weak sold off when harley killed buell. So the buell s you see are true lovers of the bikes.

Less than half the Buells produced ended up in the United States.

There was a huge push to get ALL Buells and Buell products purged from Harley-Davisdon showrooms.

It was the consummate win-win deal in a lot of ways.

4 months through the States, Central/South America and the only Buell I have seen was on the back of a pickup in the Baja.

It was a Uly though, with translucent orange plastic.

I was out today, 53,000 miles and it finally got the battery replaced this morning.
I'm looking forward to the next 53,000 miles!

I saw one underneath me over the last four days. You just need to see more of the country.

I always see Buells, even a Uly or two when I am in the car.

I crank mine up and it turns in to Buell repellant and no one for a 15 mile radius will ride theirs. I NEVER see one when I'm out riding.

Heck, I even see tubers when I'm in the car. Never when I'm on the bike.

grrrrrrrrrrrrr
