hi guys, today I took my Buell Ulysses for a ride out...I haven't ridden this bike for almost 6 months for any distance...:eek1 it was still only 5 degrees C but the sun was shining and I rode just over 100mls through Berkshires & Hampshires fines roads. The Uly ran perfect and the sounds from the Remus is superb - I had almost forgotten how great! here are couple of shots I took along the way
and of course more bends...
after 2.5hours I got back from with a great smile on my face and washed the bike to get rid of all the salt etc.. That's all. Enjoy Lars |

"100mls through Berkshires & Hampshires finest roads." Lars I know those roads very well as I come from that part of the UK and had the same sort of fun many a time. I know the smile. Glad you had a good day on the Uly. |

britchri, I had a wonderful ride out to Henley on Thames & back in 1975 on a 1959 Bonneville/A10 hybrid. Stopped in a tiny pub outside town called "The Lamb"if I remember correctly. Ring any bells? A couple of pints of Henley brewery's finest helped keep me going on the long drive back to London through the snow. |

Yeah, That's the Lamb at Satwell. Lovely countryside pub. I believe it's still in business. I've been in the USA for 23 years & still crave pints of Brakspears from the henley Brewery. |

Britchri, I can tell you, those were dark days back in the '70's and 80's when you had to cross the Atlantic to get a decent pint. Much improved since then. |

I've seen it spelt."SLOM" before! I thought all Canucks drank Moosehead! I now drink American beer 'cause it's normally so hot here but I still miss my bitter. Chris C |

I thought all Canucks drank Moosehead! Just those that don't know any better! Probably the same pantywaists who would be drinking lager & lime back in Blighty. The rest of us just eat moose. If you want to start on the cultural stereotypes how about the one about warm beer and Lucas refrigerators! Cheers! |

No offence meant! It's just that we hosted a Canadian junior rugby team when I was a lad & all they could talk about was the warm beer, how good it was & what a change from Moosehead! We were all about 17 years old & had a great two weeks in the UK. As for refrigerators.... Didn't have one until I was 12 years old! Got our first family car when I was nine. I rode motorbikes until I was 24 then my company gave me my first car. (IMHO) It's all a bit different to N. America. Later... Chris C |

Chris, no offence taken. All in good fun. Back then all we had was Moosehead and similar. But I presume you know the old British biker joke about the Brits drinking warm beer because they have Lucas refrigerators? I used to play rugby too but fortunately did not get to play in the UK, you guys would have killed us. |

I had the '75 T140V Bonneville. great fun, especially if foggy conditions. I would live to have had/have a Trident. Chris C |
