I posted this in another section, but just in case people don't check that one I figured I'd try again here (sorry).

I will at some point pick up a CF airbox cover with larger air intakes on each side. Has anyone picked up one of these and then added some kind of mesh or screen to keep larger stuff (bugs) out of the airbox? If so, what did you put in, how did you attach it, and if you have any pics that would be much appreciated as well. Thanks

I've seen simple expanded-metal screens from the hardware store (usually used for gutters), simply glued in place with RTV silicone on the inside of the bodywork. Haven't done it myself, though.

Thanks, I'll give that a look when I stop by the hardware store next. I swear that I saw a picture out here somewhere of what I'm thinking about, but I think it was just an offhand shot of someone's bike and not a thread on this topic. I don't even remember if it was a Uly.
