Tried this in Knowledge Vault area but a few days later and no bites thought I'd ask the experts here...

I'm looking at converting the foot controls and tail of my Ss to XT for better pillion seating and to add the Touratech 41L panniers.

Since I'm planning a longish trip(~8,400 miles in 14 days) and will have a passenger I'd like the additional storage that the Ventura rack system provides.

Is anyone successfully running this combination? I'm concerned about compatibility as it appears the both utilize some of the same mounting points.

Any other suggestions for tail storage that retains passenger seating?

Thanks,
Nels

I think Palmer from the Uk has a rear rack, but don't know the exact mounting points
