I've been thinking about this for a while. I have an 06 uly with 38kish miles that I love.
Rockers boxes leak, it's had issues, normal stuff. Wheel bearings, stator, two belts, last one only lasted 11k miles. Shock needs a rebuild.
I also have an 07STT which I love but I don't ride much because the uly is more comfortable. It has 17kish miles and so far been great. No leaks as of yet, feels more planted in the curves, runs better.

So would it be possible to swap the uly subframe, pegsets and windscreen over fairly easily?
Am I crazy?

Yes...and kinda.

There are wiring differences, and you have to swap the undertail/battery tray as well as swapping all your foot control linkages and brackets.

If it were me and I had to make changes, I'd swap the tail section and ride it. But, I love the TT's as they are so I'm probably not much help...

See if you can find one of the old ...damn, what were they called...Skyline seats? Anything for an Ss will also fit a TT. Might be the simplest upgrade for you.

Well I two-up a lot and already have the touring seat on the STT. I also commute and always have the topcase on to throw stuff in.
I may have fixed all the issues on the uly with the exception of the oil leaks but who knows. The motor on the TT runs better and has always been quieter. I like the suspension on the TT better as well as being a little lower because I'm short. The only bad thing about that is a tend to drag the pegs on the uly as it is.

Dragging pegs is a GOOD thing, better than something that has no give. Think of them as "edge" feelers, cause if you Ignore it, your going Over it!

up the viscosity in your suspension, put the Uly tail on it, Ride it!
Suspension travel just increases the forgiveness of pushing too hard.
ride wise, have Fun!
