So I am coming back from work on my Uly thinking I am the only bike on the road and then there it is...a bike merging onto the Parkway traffic...could it be!? Yep...not only another bike...another Uly! Yellow, just like mine!!! In November, at 11:30pm...right there...beside me!!! This was no ordinary Uly...this is a traveled bike, with farkles galore, and a rider with Buell jacket...the works! Now I have put just about 3K miles on this bike since I bought it a little over 2 months, and not only I have never seen another Uly, I have never seen another Buell on the road! Hey Froggman...Ding Ding Ding...correct sir. Pleased to meet you RC. How many miles are on that bike ? It looked like it just came off the showroom floor. Although it was dark and I don't see that good when it's light out. I thought I saw a new style RSS on that thing. Did you notice the aluminum sheet metal and taped on pieces of dental floss I had on the right side ? I had been trying out different "spoilers" in order to lessen the direct blast of wind that hits my forearms. I had done that little stretch of GSP about 10 times that night with different set-ups. How did you like those rocket launchers ? I've been doing a bit of surf-fishin' down at Sandy hook recently. By the way my bike is the faster & tougher orange, I think yours may be too. Hey there! Nice to meet you as well! I was pumped by seeing another Uly that late at night! You sir, have made me proud! My is a 2006 that I bought this past August I think with 4k miles on it, it now has just about 7K, I agree, our yellow bikes are by far the fastest of them all! I saw the rod holders and could not believe it! You have the most utilitarian Uly I have ever seen! Mine is just about stock. I moved the ECM and have new levers on her right now. Also have new windscreen adapters coming from Palmer, as well as some bar end weights and other bits...can't wait! The other mod that I need to get done is the lowered riders pegs, once those are in I will think about either a breather mod or a primary switch, not sure yet. In any case, would love to meet you sometime and ride together! Could also use some guidance in how to perform some work on the bike if you are willing to mentor a newb Uly person! Rod | ||

Yes both faster & tougher ! Did my keyboard ststststutter ? Don't blame me and RC because you have a black one. As far as the "black is beautifull" thing goes...have you seen my profile pic ? Beauty doesn't always make for fast or tough, although Serena does have all three doesn't she ? | ||

I love my orange Uly!! When I was looking at it I thought it was yellow as well, upon looking at it parked next to my X1, yup, she's orange alright. Just check my profile pic | ||
