Looking at the ECMSPY web page, all I could determine was that the new version was fee based. I couldn't find any information on how much the fee was, or what the fee restrictions were (one-time charge to next major version, yearly fee, or some other scheme). Anybody know what the current paid versions of the SW run these days? Wayne | ||

The fee is a donation to a hospital. I don't know the details as I do not have the software. My understanding is that the only restriction is that it binds to your ECM, so you would need to buy another license to touch someone else's bike or if your ECM is replaced. TunerPro - http://tunerpro.net/downloadApp.htm You may need additional files from the ECMspy website, I honestly haven't used it in ages, Xopti was working on some changes to make it easier to interface. | ||

"The fee is a donation to a hospital." It is and it aint much. Its free for pre 08 bikes and for post 08 bike it depends on your ECM number. Put it this way. Gunter, Nick and others put a lot of time and effort into this and all they ask, if you want to use it is to send a few bucks to help sick kids. I can not fault that in any way myself. |
