I had the side stand recall done when we were first alerted to the recall. Dealer called about 6 months ago telling me my bike needed to have the recall done. Told them it was done by them already and even had them check it out to see that yes it was already taken care of. Today got a call that they needed to do my side stand recall. WTF.

Six years ago I enlisted in the Navy.
Ever since, I've received calls from Navy recruiters every few months wanting me to enlist.

Once, Sprint's customer service department called me and asked for my phone number so they could update their records. (they called me on my Sprint cell phone - I have no land line)

-facepalm-

I get calls telling me my 2004 Prius warranty is about to expire. It expired in 2007 for gosh sakes. Scam artists selling worthless warranties.

They just want to get you into the show room to try to sell you a chrome slug.

I still keep notices from my dodge truck dealer that they want to buy my 2002 dodge dually diesel... Which I traded in to that same dealer in 2006 on my current Dodge diesel

I get calls from my local dealer... tried removing myself from the list, but it never seems to work. And they wonder why I don't give them my email.

I have been very unfortunate when it comes to HD dealers, and I highly doubt I will ever step foot in one again unless I can't get it from Al. One exception has been Murfreesboro, sadly however, I have not had the occasion to actually do business with them, just window shopping.

Well EG, that's better than having them tell you they did the kickstand and BAS recalls and then when you get home you find out they didn't do the BAS after all! I didn't have any problem with the BAS so I just left it alone. Since the Comfort Kit was installed I don't think it's an issue anymore.

On my old 91 FLHS they had a recall on a relay that would fail and cause the bike to just shut down while riding. I had never experienced this but took it in for the recall. A week after the new parts were installed the bike quit while riding! WTF! HD's location for the relay was screwed to the oil tank where it gets really HOT! I got a longer screw and placed a sink washer under the new improved relay and it never failed again! No wonder I'm gunshy around recalls!

I love "cold" callers. I had one last week about accidents at work. It was a women but as soon as I said I had a claim a guy jumped in to fix a deal.

What a sucker I had him hooked with my OH SO sad story. Not many people get there two foot dick caught in a lift. After an hour on the phone and the real best part he asked me if it had hurt much?

My wife keeps calling. Something about a 2nd Buell registration coming in the mail. Could've sworn I discussed that with her. Time for a PO Box.
