I fell for it. I have had older two strokes do that when they kick back and run backwards. After hearing about the horn blowing when the fan was supposed to run on Timbobueel's police bike I was ready to believe anything...... |

I should have put that it goes into reverse when shifted to 5th gear at 4,000 rpms. Can you imagine that! |

For some reason, this reminds me of a dashboard sticker you used to be able to buy: "WARNING- Do NOT attempt to shift into second gear when exceeding 97 MPH in first!" |

I can't see whatever it is, but this can actually happen on a lot of bikes. I've seen a RC51 where some boneheaded dealer worked on the bike then installed a new chain. They wrapped the chain around the swingarm rather than the countershaft sprocket, but the clearance between the swingarm and sprocket is such that the teeth engaged the backside of the chain and the bike would go in reverse in all 6 gears. |
