Sorry for the newb question, I performed multiple searches to no avail. My plastics are being painted (air cover, chin fairing and windshield piece). I'll pick them up Monday. Can I ride today? Other than the obvious aesthetic shame, is there any reason mechanically to leave her in the garage and find another mode of transport? Thanks for the help. |

The plastic bodywork is purely cosmetic. Only exceptions are the fenders and belt guards, but you can safely operate without them. |

I ran my 1125R a few days stripped of plastic. It was noisy.

I run without my airbox cover all summer long. Hasn't hurt anything yet. |
