Sorry for the newb question, I performed multiple searches to no avail.

My plastics are being painted (air cover, chin fairing and windshield piece). I'll pick them up Monday.

Can I ride today? Other than the obvious aesthetic shame, is there any reason mechanically to leave her in the garage and find another mode of transport?

The plastic bodywork is purely cosmetic. Only exceptions are the fenders and belt guards, but you can safely operate without them.

I ran my 1125R a few days stripped of plastic.
It was noisy.

I run without my airbox cover all summer long. Hasn't hurt anything yet.
