"No color will get dirtier faster! Mine looks slightly dirty, even when it's clean."

Has anyone here come up with any solutions to this issue? That's the number two complaint I have with my hi viz rain jacket, can never seem to get it clean.

I've tried all the usual things, shout, spray n wash, etc,. Nada. Got a bar of Gramma's favorite laundry tool-fels naptha- may try that next.

Rod, let us know how the jacket works out. With the riding season done in some parts of the country, now seems to be the time for deals.

Before I ever wore my jacket out on the road, I coated it with stain repellent. It has probably helped some. Stronger cleaning agents might work, but I don't want to dull the jacket.

Yep! I will take safety over fashion any day of the week and twice on Sundays!!! It's OK to have a cool dark jacket when you are on day rides, or bar hopping, or whatever. For my daily commute and longer trips it's high viz all the way!

I'll bet that if you got a good lungful of that stuff you'd have about 2 minutes left on earth. I notice that they only sell for industrial applications and that is probably because it is so dangerous to apply.
