...is the cooling fan, so sayeth my dongle. Engine light came on for about a minute today, then went out. Checked the code when I got home. Thing is, the fan IS working, and the bike is running fine. Upper 80's today, rode highway speeds for about 20 miles AFTER the light came and went, no problems to report. Should I be concerned or on the lookout for anything? Any ideas, guys?

I had that happen one time(before my fan problems)where a large leaf somehow got into the fan blade/grille space. It probably made the fan start hard. Took the leaf out and all was good for another five thousand or so.

If the light comes on or it throws the code again then I would get serious about it. But for now a good visual and a code reset is what I would do.
