Ouch! Why the hell is that? I mean, you got bikes that are comparable going for twice what a Uly is getting. Josh |

Supply and demand. Not a lot of demand = not a high price. Not a whole lot of buyers out there in general, and most likely less buyers specifically looking for Buells. I love my Uly :P |

I'd imagine October is NOT the best time to try to sell your motorcycle in most parts of the country. It seems that Ulys sell in "waves" based on what I see here and at ADVrider. I'll see 3 or 4 posts in the space of a week from guys that just bought used Ulys raving about how great they are; then we'll go 3 months with no "new" Uly owners. |

Bikes move slow in the fall in most of the country. It'll pick up next june. I doubt values next june will be much different than they were this past june. It is very common for a bike not to move on ebay, I've "won" an '09 Multistrada 1100S for $4k, but reserve not met a few times. After a couple of tries i think it sold for almost $8k, just gotta wait for the right buyer to come along. |

I haven't checked to see if it is still on ebay, but ever since the closing 2 years ago, someone has been trying to sell a hero blue lightning with blue LEDs for more than new MSRP, citing its a rare bike and all this other BS. Listing fees are probably adding up. |

I've never bought a bike based on what its future value might be. From past experience I know that most of my bikes will probably be worthless by the time I'm done with them. That doesn't bother me in the least. I know that I have lots of memories with each and every bike and those memories far outweigh the original value of each of my past bikes. Old great memories are intangible assets that are impossible to place values upon. My ULY will most likely never have another owner until after I'm gone. |

I agree Electra. Can't put a price on the memories. I have alot of great ones and always adding. I have more on my Uly than all of the others combined. I always get asked why I still kept my Buell Even know Harley dropped them. You guys get that too? |
