I'm in the mist of trying to swap out my primary on my '07 Uly with the XB9 primary.

I may be doing this all wrong! I thought the primary nut was reverse threaded, but after reading the manual for the 20th time, it looks like maybe only the clutch main nut is reverse threaded.

Can somebody verify for me that the nut on the primary side of things is normal threading?

I'm going to have to see if the new Sears is like the old Sears and if they will replace my 1/2 Craftsman ratchet that I broke trying to turn the damn nut...(which I was probably turning the wrong way).

Thanks for the confirmation. I was going the wrong way on the crank nut! Sheesh.

In all seriousness-you broke a 1/2 inch Craftsman ratchet? Ding dang, son...

Good luck on the install!

Yep... Sears hooked me up this morning with a repair kit, and now turning the primary nut the correct way, I was able to get it and the clutch nut off.

That link that Nipsey put up needs to be read all the way through. They changed the torque value on the crank nut after my book was printed so the new number is in the thread but it's near the bottom so like I said, read all of it before you tighten the nut.
