Author Message   Tootal Posted on Wednesday, October 05, 2011 - 03:36 pm:        So I've tried to help Erik out and formulate the perfect dual sport machine. Using the Uly as a starting point I tried to improve some of the complaints that we've all read on these pages. So first off I hugely decreased the turning radius to where you can turn this baby around in a one car garage! Then I worked on a more comfortable saddle, although the Uly's is pretty darn good, I just wanted to make it better. I also incorporated a 6-speed transmission and trust me, this thing is geared low enough!! I did make it much more dirt oriented, in fact this thing will go right up a tree! DAMHIK! I have incorporated chain drive to keep things alive in the outback. The only thing I haven't perfected yet is the size of the gas tank but hey, it's a work in progress!   Etennuly Posted on Wednesday, October 05, 2011 - 04:03 pm:        Well....ya have the dirt part down, but I see LD slab travel as a problem. Well I just got back from exploring two new micro breweries and one semi new brewery then a hole in the wall with Ayinger Oktoberfest on tap. It's been a long afternoon!! Eric or the dreaded MOCO need to combine some traits of the klr to the ulyssses, faring plus madstad style shield and klr turning radius plus a six speed and nice smooth grunty v twin, the ability to use 17 19 21 inch front wheels and a dirt compatible rear. better lighting/electrics and better fit and finish.
