I seem to remember a thread that mentioned a using the hi beam pass switch for Aux lights. I can't find it in the "knowledge vault". Anybody know how to do this? |

I did it to mine. All I did was tap the high beam wire to trigger a relay that powers my aux lights. I also have my low beam on all the time....so when I hit the high beam I go from 1 low beam light to all 4 and BAM, you see me! |

Here is a link showing how I did it. I am a geek about not wanting to hack up my bikes for mods, so I sourced the proper connectors to make a jumper harness to go in between the headlight harness and the headlight. I crossed 2 of the wires (the low beam and the parking light wire) to give me an always on low beam, and I tapped into the high beam wire to run off to my aux light relay: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/show .cgi?tpc=32777&post=2107100#POST2107100 |

Autoswitch! That's it. I remember finding these on eBay . What one do I order? Andy, thanks for the info. I am hoping to set it up so that my aux lights don't come on when I turn on the hi beams. I think the autoswitch uses the pass button for the hi beam. Do you have any of those amp connectors left? |

Gotcha, I misunderstood what you were asking! I have 1 connector set left , PM me if you'd like it. |
