I was trying to sell my '08 XT, but then I took it out for a nice long ride through New Hampshire and Vermont and had too much fun. I think I'll just hang on to it. | ||

Selling mine too, but I'm in no hurry. I'm riding it to work, heading out on the weekends...just enjoying it and the weather. Stupid economy. | ||

Don; there is something magical about an S3; some days, I wish I still had mine. However, the Uly is an excellent motorcycle in its own right. I was riding my XT over some twisty roads and it just felt so right that I decided to just keep it. I can use the money, but I'll figure a way to get by without. | ||

Don; That sounds like it might be fun. I'm going to be away for a couple of weeks(Going to the Moto GP this week, and the Springfield Mile Labor Day weekend). After that, it sounds like a great destination. The roads in that neck of the woods are supposed to be really nice. (or so I've heard) | ||

How about we tentatively say the weekend after Labor Day for lunch? Saturday? Sunday? What sounds good to everybody? Maybe we should make it a Uly gathering; I'll ride my XT, Don can ride his Uly if it hasn't sold, Mike has his Uly, It's possible to talk Froggy into riding his XB, Maybe even Ulynut won't be working for a change, and he'll show on his X. Who knows,maybe even Court will ride up on his! On second thought, we don't want to be exclusive, it's better to be inclusive. So anybody who shows up will be welcome on whatever they're riding. Now, all we need is the name of the place and an address, so we can find it. | ||

Don; I'm packing to ride to Indy to see the Moto GP, so I don't really have the time to do it right. Why don't we make tentative plans to meet there for lunch on the Sunday after Labor Day? I've been putting a lot of miles on lately and I have to say that I'm enjoying the Ulysses immensely! I've only had the bike here for the summer and was thinking that with the economy and my wife wanting a bigger house I may have to sell...I'm really second guessing that decision at this point and considering yanking the for sale thread(s). The more I ride this bike, the more I enjoy it. It's taken me a while to adjust to the engine coming from lots of inlines and an Italian twin, but it's growing on me rapidly. Maybe I'll bump in to some of you guys in Indy this weekend... | ||
