Author Message   Firefight100 Posted on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 - 05:11 pm:        Went on a nice 320 mile ride over the weekend. On the way home noticed 08 XB12X wasnt charging. Made it home ok. No problem, I'll park it and ride the Husky for a while. Well tore in to the Buell today and found the bottom two coils of the stator burnt up. The stator was showing shorted to ground so figured it was that. So now I think I'll rewind just those two coils and make sure it is not grounded anymore. Also noticed the springs in the back of my clutch are toast. Anyone ever replace those? Where did you get replacements? This is a common problem with the Huskies as well but Husqvarna does stock the replacement springs.
