Hi. I'm the proud owner of an '08 XB12XT. I live in Lassen County, CA, about 90 miles North of Reno, NV (closest HD dealer). I recently installed a Jardine GP-1 exhaust and K&N air-filter and need to remap my ECM. I'm in the process of purchasing the ecmspy software, but I need help finding the data link cable. Sure, I can make one, but if anyone out there has one for sale or knows someone who does, I'd appreciate the help. I also need the racemap, if anyone has one to sell. | ||

If you just want the cable, Lastcyclone's right. $40 and GTG. If you want the cable from someone in California who could potentially have it to you sooner than the ebay person can, AND can also help sort out tuning questions and help get you going on the right foot... American Sport Bike would be the place to call this morning. | ||

I believe ECMspy won't work on an '08. You can test certain things, but you can't do full tuning. I couldn't even get it to read codes. There are other programs you can use, but I can't remember what they are right now... |
