I re-routed the breather hoses in the most simple way... down the front and pointed at the exhaust... This is a must do if you like to run in the lower revs... I was quite surprised at the transformation. Tractability and smooth running on dirt roads or wherever is now achieved... Yay!

I agree completely. I'm still going to add a catch can at some point, but am enjoying the low RPM performance without it now.

When I did the re-route I also added the Special O.P.S. airbox heat barrier as well. That along with Odie's other heat barriers have made a big difference in how the Uly passes the heat on to me.

my uly is running the best it ever has with breathers out of airbox and into a homemade catchcan. just used pvc pipe, end caps, drill and tap for brass fittinhgs, run hose down left side of motor, attach this science experiment to the bar outside left side of cylinders and run third hose to back of bike with a small filter on it. less than 15.00 bucks stays out of way. drain it at every fuel fillup and you will be amazed at how much water and then spooge you will get out of it. If i can figure out how to load pix here i can if you like. I have been accused of being a tim allen kind of guy as I have had one on my road king for years.
