Mt Baker Loop Hey guys, former CA guy here, now stationed at Oak Harbor. Looking to make a 450 mile loop next week around Mt Baker. I would be doing this during the week, between 31JUL and 05AUG so I am sure there very few of you who could make it, but thats all my leave and other commitments will allow for, and by god, I want to get out while the weather is good. Any recommendations on where to get to or see or do or eat along the route? Planed route is as follows; http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&msid=20798267 9388200986327.0004a8e8efbf71ba046ed Any better or other recommendations are always welcome. I am attempting to make this a full day trip, but MAY break it into a two day deal camping on the other side near Chelan or so. Any interest? I do not ride like my hair is on fire anymore but I am a spirited rider who likes to take a ton of pictures where ever I go, so there would be lots of stops I am sure. And seeing as I am equiped with an X, any good fire roads out there to put around on?? Any recommendations on what to take with me? I do not have a spare belt right now, so thats out, but what else? I have a full blown tool kit, first aid kit, survival kit (dont ask) and all the regular gear and such. LMK |

Hey, just saw this late today, interested if you can make it on Wednesday or Friday. . . Not familiar with the route, so can't help in that regard, but I do carry a spare belt. . . Only interested in the "day" version. Post up or shoot me a PM. . . |
