Sweet old XB12x -06 has moved to dealer property and so is XVS950A -09. I get 2011 Dyna Fat Bob and Maria get 2011 Dyna Street Bob. Over 30000 km fun kilometres in 2 year together, i will miss him.
Let´s see what we can do with this Dynas. Next summer we go to the Romania with Aleksi, 17 years old who drives 125cc Kymco Quannon, with all of 15 horsepower engine. |

Hangetsu: Ouch!!! That hurt! I spend all that money to buy a american icon and you say like that:-) I would by a new Buell if somebody still makes them, but now i have to deal with theses. Actually it´s surprice me how much riding this Dyna´s is same than any japanise customs, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki. Only thing what´s different is that shake in lights when bike is in idle. |

are all the new Dyna models have the forward controls? When I was at my dealer's Harley demo fleet, the only Dynas they had were all forward controls. I'm old fashion, I only want to ride a motorcycle with my foot pegs under me. I just can't stand having my feet in the forward position when riding a motorcycle. |

Cyclonedon, I'm with you regarding feet forward barcalounger riding. Last thing I want is to ride on my tailbone all day. And when you need to get up on the pegs it's becomes all but impossible, good arm and lat exercise though. |

I bought my '06 Uly in 2006. I knew I wanted a cruiser too, so I got an '07 Street Bob (and put forward controls on - long legs + mid-controls = funny looking rider). I love how different they are - when I switch between them it's like riding them for the first time all over again! Too bad you couldn't have 'em both. The one thing I WON'T get used to on the Dyna: the flex in the frame and fork when hauling a$$ through curves and over bumps. The Uly is always rock-solid. |

I wouldn't say you've gone overboard but it appears you've jumped ship... to one with pirates!! I figured pirates was better than this guy: |

I ride different Harleys all day and I feel the only comfortable ones besides the touring bikes are the Fat Boy with floor boards and the XR1200. I dislike forward controls and buckhorn bars. When I get on my Uly at the end of the day, I realize how much I like it. |

These are only a frame where start. Both will have hard luggages, racks, Vance&Hines, stage 1 air kits, etc.. Plus i will possibly put floorboars in Fat Bob. Maria´s Street Bob will have Progressive Suspension 418 series in back + maybe floorboards. I will send new pictures when there are ready, hopefully mid august. Petri |

Sorry Petri, but I just couldn't resist. all in good fun, eh? Enjoy your rides. Every bike has it's own quality that makes for a great experience. Just make sure Aleksi knows where to stop & wait while you catch up |
