I'm rerouting the crankcase breather hoses and noted that the Intake Air Temp sensor is really saturated with oil. Is it OK to spray this thing off with WD-40? I'm thinking probably so, but figured that I would check first.

I don't think that'll hurt it, but it probably wont get the oil off. You can probably find something suitable at your auto parts store; I know they make a cleaner specifically for Air Intake Mass sensors which are just about as delicate.

If you have brake parts cleaner or a carb spray those work, form what I've read here. I have a can of CRC plastic safe contact cleaner that works also.

They evap fast and don't leave a film behind.

You're talking about the sensor thats in the 'belly pan' of the airbox, no?


Stupid fact of the day: brake parts cleaner (non-chlorinated variety) is about as close as the average joe can get to dry cleaner strength spot remover so pre-treat your laundry while you clean your IAT sensor.
