Anyone happen to have the part# for the plastic cover that goes over the ECM plug. Left side. My service dealer lost it and trying to order one can't find the part#

Thanks,

Birddawg

Sorry, This is the grey plastic part that fits into the frame. It redirects heat to the rear away from your leg. It also hides the wires ECM plug.

Thanks

Sorry I do not know the part number.

If you have the comfort kit it is no big deal to not have the little snap in cover. They were a fairly lame attempt(band-aid) at getting heat away from the rider's legs. The real cure was the comfort kit. From my experience, these little deflectors are no longer a necessary item.

However it seems the dealer does owe it to you if they lost or broke it. Froggy will have that number in.....ten minutes(my guess).

Do you mean these perhaps?
Considering they were a stock part from '08, they should be available.

Part number should be M2138.1AK

After I installed my comfort kit, I removed those airflow guides. I felt the underseat area(ecm) was getting really hot and needed some airflow or an escape route for the heat, which the guides block, or at least lessen. Just my two cents, but it might be something to think about.
