Any suitable substitutes out there at a more reasonable price? Bike is an 06 if that maters. The fit and finish in that area are every bit as good, if not better than, stock. Ron has offered me an 08 lever but I don't know that it will work Thanks, Murf2   Snub13 Posted on Wednesday, June 01, 2011 - 10:14 am:        I won a clutch lever in a grab bag thing (don't know what year / part #). I recently took off the stock lever to lube the cable and noted a good bit of wear, so I put on the other one. They look the same when held together, but the new one fits differently. It sits a little closer to the grip (and therefore the engagement point is different) but it seems to work ok. It will take some getting used to.
