I'm 6'3" and am comfortable on the '08 seat. I either want to trade for or buy outright a tall seat. Black in color please.
What say you?

Thanks,

I am the same height and did the same thing on my 2008.
It's a good move.

The foam is a bit more firm too. This is by far the most comfortable bike I have ever owned now.

I'd swap but mine is orange on the back

How much would you need for the seat.
Blackjoe just sold a one for 50 plus shipping, I'd like to do the same.

I can respond to email much faster.

I'd rather trade out since my current seat is weather cracking on the passenger pillon.
Hope that would be sufficient.

Are these tall seats the old or new stitch pattern?

I have an 06 tall seat I would sell for $50 +shipping. It is the style with the seams along the edges.

Jont, am interested but would first like to find one to try before I commit and buy one. Will let you know.

Is anyone still looking for a tall all black seat? Today I received a fast orange one from a fellow badwebber so I need to get rid of my slow all black one. It's in pretty good condition, but it does have a couple of spots where the cover is stretching thin where it wraps around the pan. I can provide pictures if desired. $50 plus shipping takes it.

I just installed a new tall seat, the one without the side seams, and I am liking it so far (as much as I can determine by a 20 minute commute to work). I'll be putting in a 10+ hour ride to Deals Gap July 7th so it'll get a good testing then.

I forgot to mention, the seat that I'm looking to get rid of has the seams going fore/aft.

Granted, I haven't been on any long rides with my bike yet, mostly just 15-20 min commuting but the seams haven't bothered me yet. My new tall seat has the seams as well.
