just installed the badlands illuminator proIII mod for my 09 XT. have the same thing on my Dyna and wanted brighter brake lights. the HD version came ready to plug in but the Buell version is cut and splice so i was a bit hesitant, i dont like botched wiring, specially on my motorbike. BUT, with the instructions that came with it, i was very pleased how it worked out. all installation was done behind the flyscreen, soldered and shrink wrapped connections, neat package. i didnt change my rear turnsignals to red, not sure how that will effect inspections, but aint nobody gonna smak my butt for lack of lites.   | ||

I like that. Do they have a version for LED turn signals? I'd like to have mine not as running lights, but as additional brake lights... | ||

Rat, dont think they have a specific LED setup for buell, for harley yes, they do. | ||

Someone here had setup his turnsignals as running lights and the heat of the bulbs being on all the time melted his housings. I suggest would upgrading to LED bulbs. |
