I took my first ride with my new Aprila mirrors last night. Very nice! No shaking at all, I can see around my elbows AND they look super tough! And very inexpensive at American Sport Bike!

I purchased a set from Al and they are much nicer than the stock pods.

Yep. They work/look great and are much better than the OEM ones. Getting them in the right position needs a bit of practice though but no big deal.

Can you post some pics with them on the bike?

I like mine, but they still vibrate on the highway. I wonder why mine do and others don't.

Yes they do suit the bike. The OEM ones are not much good for anything and you will always get some vibs with mirrors. It depends on many things. I think these work better because of the shorter thicker arms and elongated mirrors.

I do sometimes wonder about the XB design. Some of it is genius, others are shortsighted and a few are just plain loony. Some materials/parts are cheap and others are military grade. The Uly seems to have, mostly, worked out ok though.

Does any one have any more pics with these mirrors mounted? I would like to see a straight on shot.

Those do look sweet. Is it just a bolt off, bolt on situation or is there some work for a proper fit.

Also what price range do they fall in? If not to expensive, I could see a pair on that red XT in my garage.

They just screw right on. The nice thing is they have a better "mount-to-arm" friction system, than the OEM ones, that make them nicer to position.

I do not know what they cost new from Aprilia. I paid £20 used. You can also get copy units and they are ok as well.

American Sport Bike used to sell them or you can walk in to an Aprilia dealer and ask if they have any in stock. When/If they say no, ask if they'll sell you the ones off of the bike on the showroom floor (they also appear on some Piaggio scooters and Vespas IIRC). It worked once for me. No reason it won't work for you. Just gotta find an Aprilia dealer, which is usually just down the block from hen's teeth, near the henweigh.

The guy was happy to take them off and take $30 for the pair after he looked up the replacement price in his parts 'book' to confirm I wasn't trying to scam him.

They also come stock on Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport, Norge and Stelvio models.
I think they're up to something like $55.00/ pair; but I'm not sure. It's been a while since I bought mine
