I'm sure most have heard this by now. Polaris to buy Indian came out earlier today.

Yep, sure did. Interesting purchase. Victory's have always been "high tech" cruisers and even the latest "Cross" bikes were a little too futuristic or custom looking for me. Maybe if they take what Indian had and make a dependable classic that handles well and looks old they could blow Harley out of the water. It will be interesting on which direction they take.

A true word, Dudes. I would love to have an original Indian. The trouble is that you can not even park one up without the fear of it being stolen. In the UK you have to pay £50k for a good one. Its like leaving a gold brick on the road.

There are not many old bikes worth replicating but an Indian, if done right, would be very special.
