Obviously the Ully likes to take off. Being that I love to do it too, we're a perfect match. However I don't know the power-train enough to feel comfortable that extended wheelies will not damage it: are the lubrication issues for these engines if they remain banked (as in the position they end up in while wheeling) for 5-10 seconds at a time? I have had that kind of problem before on my Duc... Not fun.

The engine is a dry sump type so that should be ok. The oil is in the swing arm, so it will fall to the back of it, and the connection is at the front. I would guess, but do not know for sure, that the pickup point is at the deepest, front, part.

A normal wheelie would be ok but ten seconds is trick stuff and you may need to allow for that with mods.

I would take some care if you want the engine to last any time.

That's a real good question, I always wondered that myself. There are a lot of YouTube vids out there showing stunt riders doing exceptionally long wheelies on XB's though. Not sure if they did any mods to allow for that or not.

Hughlysses, do you wheelie a lot? I'm not picking on you, just curious.

, please dont stop me from enjoying a good 2 block 50 mph wheelie.....Its tough enough looking around the front wheel while its in the air, now I have to check the oil pressure light too? Please say it's not true...

Nice find man, I guess if it can be redline for 15 seconds straight while sitting at a 90 degree angle, our puny little 45-50 degree wheelies will not even be noticed by the engine. Woo hooo!
