I just had a 190 Scorpion Trail installed and the edge of the rim got 3-4 paint chips. Can't afford getting it painted, Can't afford a dremel to polish the lip, anyone rattle can experience/suggestions?

I my last car had Alum rims, I sprayed some duplicolor metalcast over them (semi-transparent paint) and they turned out nice, then I would spray them/touchup maybe once a month.. as needed.

I would suggest thinking about doing the same to the front. Maybe there is a reason not to do that and hopefully someone will chime in to confirm or deny, but it would be nice if they matched.

I have the new front tire in my living room, I couldn't afford to get both done. Next week sometime. But Yes, I believe it will look horrible in a couple months of riding.

I was thinking of putting some reflective tape on both sides of the spokes.

I put rubber on mine the other night. I'm going back to paying my guy next time. He earns it. My wife helped me. If your girlfriend wont help you mount tires, don't get hitched. =]

My local shop is $30 each for mount and balance. Fair price as far as I'm concerned. All the chips and scratches on the wheel are from me. I will probably have them powder coated black next year. My gal wont touch a motorcycle, let alone change a tire. She tells me to get out for a ride sometimes cuz it's my mental therapy. Not hitched.
