Anyone have a line on an inexpensive place for the family to rent for a few days on Tybee Island? looking for a cottage or house by the water. Haven't been to Savannah in a long time and the family wants to go to the beach there. | ||

Blasterd, When I was travellin' 220+ days a year for work, we would hit some great deals on VRBO.com. With the real estate market being so deep in the dumper, we had serious luck in some high dollar zip codes as people were just desperate to get any $$ traffic. In 'target rich' environments, don't be afraid to negotiate on a published rate. People would often rather have a chance to consider an offer than not get a single bite all season. In nearly every instance, we got some supremely nice real estate for a 7, 10 or 14 day stay for far less than a mediocre hotel. PM me if you want more info. |
