Don't know this tire, haven't used this tire but if you could benefit from knowing that Cycle Gear has Pirelli Diablo Supersports in the 120/70-17 and 180/55-17 combo for $170 until 4/30/11, here's your chance to strike while the iron is hot.

Just saw it in the flyer that arrived today. More here: http://www.cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1=5000&L2=10&L3 =1063&L4=&item=PAR_1430200_G&name=PIRELLI_Diablo_S upersport_Street_Motorcycle_Tires

Thanks for posting, Jake.

May be worth considering for the upcoming round of tire replacements for the XT.

The last two sets I have used on my bike have been Supersports.
Great handling, great traction. OK wet bite. Rears go just under 6,000 before belts came through. I really trust the Pirelli brand and know they make a quality product. That is a really good deal. If I remember right, they offered them for $199 a pair last year and that was a bargain! I have put on a set of Rosso models for this season, slighty more expensive, I will see how they compare come October.
If you need tires, I would not pass that up. I believe that price is with "free shipping" and no tax in states they have no store in.

Depending on who you buy them from, that $170 sticker for the pair is about $100-125 off the normal price. That comes from a highly unscientific perusal of ads in the three mags that come to the house and a few on-line retailers.

Tread pattern looks the same as my Stradas. I ordered a pair.
