The 08 Ulysses XB12XT I bought has soft bags inside of the hard bags. Does anyone know if these came with the bike when it was new or did the previous owner buy these? Thanks. | ||

Probably owner bought. Didn't come with bike unless you had mad bargaining skills or the dealer put them in and charged for it. | ||

They are NOT waterproof! They are just handy to have, since you can just open the saddlebag, grab the liner and go. Instead of taking the whole saddlebag into your hotel room. Very handy to have, I bought a set when I had a Uly. Learned the hard way, they are not waterproof, learn from others mistakes, and wrap your belongings in a trashbag, before placing in the liner... | ||

I prefer 1-gallon size Ziplock bags.they're waterproof and reusable and are a much more reasonable size than garbage bags. They also help to keep things more organized. |
