Found an old thread mentioning Moose Racing ForkSkins on this forum. For those that have these, do they to stay in place once zip tied? Do they zip tie at top and bottom? When the forks are compressed do they balloon out in the center or stay somewhat tight against the fork tube? I have absolutely no experience with this type of product (as you can tell!) and considering putting a set on my XR1200. Thanks

I've had great luck with mine. They stay in place and protect the seals from getting damaged. You need to drop the forks out of the triple trees to install them. this thread shows the correct way to zip tie them.

They also make these with velcro strip so you do not have to remove the forks to install. I have them on my Uly and CR and I have had no problems with them coming loose.
