Can anyone help me to find the thread that Epic posted on the ADV rider site where he talks about making his aluminum side cases. I would like to pick up a set and I will make the mount. Went to advrider.com and searched for it but could not find the thread. Thanks for any help

Those all look pretty damn good but mounting them to the stock hoops would be a challenge I think.

At least in a way that would be easy to remove for hotel duty. The stockers are awesome for that.
Yes the stockers' latches break and they aren't really water tight but they are easy to deal with on a trip.

If that's what you want, get Gobi's.

You can also use a puck system like Touratech. It's also pretty easy to make one of your own that release the cases from the racks from the inside. Security comes from the fact that the case lock from the outside.
