when I purchased my 2006 Uly, the dealer had a couple of road grader orange color ones and one black Uly. The salesman asked which color I wanted, I just laughed at him and he said ok, the black one is yours then.
That two-tone colored seat is the ugliest thing I've ever seen put on a motorcycle! |

All kidding aside, I really do like the Barricade Orange color. That just looks right on the Uly, maybe because the first 12X I ever saw was that color.
I really like the color red but if my XT had been available in Barricade Orange, I would have had a hard time deciding. When I bought mine, I had a choice between black and red. Black looked very sharp also.
My youngest daughter asked me if I bought my motorcycle "just because it was red?". |

My bike posted above is a 2009 with 2010 Yellow bodywork, I have no clue who Dude is...well, I do now.....

I had one of the first "fast orange" Uly's, then was able to get a 2010 YELLOW "Big Bird" X.
Sold the "fast orange" to Sidepipe79.
The Uly's are great bikes, wish everyone could experience the '10 model, it is so refined.
Now when does spring get here....Go Char Go! |

I bought my first Uly in Aug 2005, Barricade Orange, Loved it best bike I have ever owned! Then the 1125R was released and I had to have one but I had to sell the Uly to get it. BIG MISTAKE! Not buying the 1125R but selling the Uly. I really like my 1125R but for 1year 9months I really missed my Uly. So I found a new 2009 in Orange. I wanted Blue so I bought that color and a black seat. Once I seen the color in person for the first time I didn’t like that shade of blue. Sold the Blue body parts to a Badweber down under and ordered 2010 Yellow parts. My dealer offers a 25% discount on your birthday so I ordered the new parts. The parts came arrived in less than 5 days from ordering them. (March 2010)
The Ulysses owners of Badweb have been teasing each other since the beginning on which Uly color is faster.
My opinion, Barricade Orange is the fastest and 2010 Yellow w/black frame is well, just a badass combo!
