The GPS does not block your view of the instruments. The mount is hot so you can easily disconnect the GPS for pictures etc.

Maybe some confusion, these items are not for sale. The GPS is a Garmin Nuvi 295w and have seen them on sale for about $80.

Throttlemeister was around $60 would have to look that up.

Just thought someone might be interested in the type of install and how it looked

I've had a Throttlemeister on my XT for a while, now. This is how I did it:

First I made a couple of adapters on the machine shop lathe at work

This way, the handguard looks a little cleaner

One more shot

I put on the Kaoko and didn't have to do anything to make it work. Took about three minutes to install I'd guess, and that is by a decidedly non-mechanical owner. It is a pricy bit, but it works as advertised. None are as good as electronic cruise like on my buddy's Harley, but it does provide some relief on long highway rides.

On the GPS, I can't tell how you have it mounted. I used a Ram mount for mine.

My T.M. did not require any mods either went right on and works great! If you tell TM you are using it with hand guards they have a special spacer/bushing that produces a gap for the handguards.

The GPS uses the standard mount that comes with it. The round disk is mounted to the tank bag. When I head in for the evening the tank bags comes off and the gps with it. Pretty simple but effective.
