After basically a year of trouble shooting my Uly I have gave up and want to get this baby fixed and back on the road right for this spring. I am looking for a reputable Buell mechanic/tuner who either does side work or runs his own shop. Will also consider GLOWING dealer service recommendations.

Located in Twin Cities MN, can travel within reason. Seeing as Milwaukee is not TOO far away, if anyone knows any good individuals that way it would be cool to get their info too. Thanks.

Wade

Um...Milwaukee isn't too far from East Troy...and I *think* there's a couple folks there who can work on a Buell.

Seriously though, try Hal's. I've always heard stellar things about them.

I can tell ya where NOT to go - Eden Prairie HD or even St.Paul HD. If you want to know more, PM me. I've bored everyone out here enough with that story already. I have heard good things about St. Cloud HD..... but haven't used them yet.

I agree on EPHD and WPHD. There are some Buell enthusiasts at Zylstra in Elk River- I have had GREAT luck with them.

Wademan - You do not require anyone.

If its a engine/gearbox problem then any good Harley man should be able to fix it. If it is a Uly issue then most of the issues have been posted before. Here or otherwise. What problems do you have with the bike. I would guess its a electrical and/or running problem. Is that right?

I take mine to Jacobson Cycle in Hastings. He does good work and his rates are reasonable. He has done work on mine and I would recommend him. His Name is Mike. Tell Him Todd sent you (the guy with the Ulysses). Here is a link to his website:

Try Donahue HD in St. Cloud. Definitely a Buell-friendly shop and good guys up there.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Zylstras in Elk River. Have a Uly and an 1125R.
